Vehicle Auctions are held every Thursday at 12:00 pm. Please read the terms of sale.

TERMS OF SALE

1. Under the provisions of Civil Code 3072, all vehicles appraised under $4000.00 will be sold "AS IS," and all sales are final.

2. All Vehicles are sold, "TRUE MILEAGE UNKNOWN," Royal Coaches and its representatives do not in any way guarantee the odometer reading to be actual, true or correct.

3. The buyer must register the vehicle with the Department of Motor Vehicles within 10 days after purchasing the vehicle. The buyer assumes full responsibility for the transfer of ownership through the D.M.V. and for all D.M.V. fees, penalties and past due registration.

4. Royal Coaches and its representatives do not accept any responsibility for the failure of any vehicle sold, or the failure of the vehicle to meet any safety standards or regulations as set by any Federal, State, or local agency. It is the expressed responsibility of the buyer to determine what safety equipment must be in service on any vehicle purchased and to comply with those safety standards and regulations prior to using any vehicles purchased. All emission control equipment (smog) and related repairs and certifications are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

5. Royal Coaches assumes no responsibility for third party claims on any vehicle, or the inability to obtain new registration on any vehicle unless such problem was caused by negligence on the part of Royal Coaches. In case of an invalid lien, Royal Coaches will only honor the amount the vehicle was sold for at the auction.

6. Vehicles sold under civil code section 3072 are appraised at $4000.00 or less. Should the bid on such a vehicle exceed that amount, per D.M.V., the vehicle will be taken off the auction and resold at a later date under civil code section 3071

7. Terms of sale for vehicles appraised over $4000.00 per civil code section 3071: Although vehicles must be paid for in full at the time of purchase, there is a 10-day redemption period in which the vehicle must remain at Royal Coaches. If the registered owner or interested party noted by the D.M.V. does not redeem the vehicle within 10 days, then the DMV lien sale documents will be completed and delivered to the buyer at 10:00 A.M. on the 10th day following the date of sale. If the vehicle is redeemed, the money paid for the vehicle will be refunded to the buyer.

8. Royal Coaches reserves the right to refuse service and or entry to any person . Royal Coaches reserves the right to accept bids in any increment they feel is the best interest of the sale. Royal Coaches reserves the right to bid on any vehicle.

9. Prior to registering a purchased vehicle with the D.M.V., do not drive or park the vehicle on a public street. Some of these vehicles are impounded for excessive parking violations or for having expired registration. They can be impounded again if the D.M.V. records still show expired registration or unpaid citations. It is also necessary to obtain new license plates.

10. Purchased vehicles should be removed from Royal Coaches premises by valid license drivers with D.M.V. moving permits or by car carrier tow truck or trailer. It is the expressed responsibility that the purchasers of any vehicle comply with the California law.

11. Purchase vehicles should be removed from Royal Coaches premises upon completion of the auction. However, Royal Coaches will vehicles to remain on premises until the following Monday with prior authorization from management. Vehicles left after 5 p.m. on the following Monday may be subject to storage fees.
